Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech provides emergency waterproofing and instant repair to roofing areas.

Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech is a high performance, solvent based acrylic coating, specially manufactured and formulated to provide emergency waterproofing and instant repair to roofing areas. This excellent repair coating is part of the range of innovatively designed products from the industry leaders, 3M Scotchkote.

Best Uses

Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech is highly effective in all weather conditions, whether extremely cold, very wet or icy conditions (although ice should be removed from the surface using a scraper, prior to application). AW 654 Poly-Tech is best used on clean and dry surfaces, although small amounts of water will not affect the performance as the substance is highly resistant to water.

Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech should be applied directly to the substrate, priming is not usually required. Application can be carried out with a soft brush, soft broom or squeegee; best results are achieved when the product is stippled into cracks and rough surfaces. It can be applied in all weather conditions including falling rain and in temperatures down to 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit). Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech must not be applied over ice. All equipment must be cleaned, with Scotchkote Cleaner 020, IMMEDIATELY after use.

Surface and Environment

Scotchkote AW 654 Poly-Tech can be applied to most surfaces, without the use of a primer, and is highly effective when applied to brickwork, concrete and stone. This excellent product is ideal for use in external environments and works to protect the surface against the water damage that occurs over the winter period.
