Recently Rustoleum have launched a range of new floor paints and primers such as the Rustoleum 3366, a faster drying primer than the 3333, both are epoxy adhesion primer for smooth surfaces such as power floated floors. Another new coating developed for floors is the Rustoleum 7201 Primer which has been developed as an adhesion primer for newly laid floors allowing them to be painted shortly after laying. This product is especially suitable for application with Rustoleum FloorCoat PU 7200 Floor Paint is a single pack elastomeric floor paint that is available in a range of stock colours but offers the added benefit of being tintable by Promain on the Rustoleum CS2 tinting machine to many other colours, this floor paint is ideally suited for use factories, workshops and garages, PU7200 has been formulated for use internally and externally and being available in a stock yellow that makes a durable line marking paint.
With the introduction of these faster drying floor paints and primers repainting of floors can be carried out faster and the return to service therefore quicker making floor painting far easier during the winter months when floor temperatures are low for instance over the Christmas shut down when many companies carry out repainting.
