Rustoleum Premium Cover Primer is a water based acrylic matt wall primer for interior and exterior use.
Rustoleum Premium Cover Primer is formulated as a primer on existing coats of wall paint, lightly powdering and absorbent mineral substrates. Suitable surfaces include: existing coats of paint, cement and plasterwork, concrete, brick, gypsum panelling, board, etc. In the case of old layers of wallpaper, make sure that the wallpaper adheres adequately to the substrate. Old layers of vinyl wallpaper may contain plasticisers which slow paint drying.
Rustoleum Premium Cover Primer prevents variations in gloss, ensures better adhesion and hiding power, prevents absorption and improves coverage when applying the finishing coats. Solvent-free, low-odour and quick drying. For interior and exterior use.
The substrate must be capable of supporting the paint, completely set, clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Sand and repair surface irregularities. Remove and/or repair all loose and unstable coats. In the case of exterior applications, remove all moss, mould and algal growth.
