Scotchkote Liquid Epoxy Coating EP2306 Series, formerly a Copon product, Copon E2306, is part of Promain UK Ltds excellent range of coatings designed for use on Metal Pipelines, and conforms to many International specifications for gas pipeline coatings.

Scotchkote Liquid Epoxy Coating EP2306 Series has been specifically manufactured for use on the internal linings of pipelines and has been innovatively formulated to increase the maximum flow efficiency for pipelines containing gas and oil. Scotchkote EP2306 offers excellent durability, meaning it is capable of withstanding hydrostatic testing and pigging operations.

Application

Scotchkote Liquid Epoxy Coating EP2306 Series Formerly Copon E2306 can be applied using airless spray or plural feel airless spray for the ultimate finish and brush or roller may be used in confined spaces or for areas requiring a touch up. It is important that all surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination in order to ensure maximum adhesion, even in areas exposed to aggressive immersion.

Surface and Environment

Scotchkote Liquid Epoxy Coating EP2306 Series has been specially designed for use on pipelines made out of steel and adheres excellently well to steel surfaces that have been blast cleaned or mechanically scraped. This great product is highly protective from chemical abuse, as well as high temperatures up to 100 degrees celsius, and works to resist corrosion for a long period of time, making it ideal for use in atmospheric outdoor conditions.
