Vernac Varnish is a clean solvent based coating for glass and clear corrugated roof sheets in external environments to resist a high level of weathering, UV light and extreme wet conditions.
Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish is a solvent based, acrylic product that forms a satin finish when dry. Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish is designed for use on substrates that are not exposed to mechanical pressure and can be used on things like corrugated asbestos sheets, and transparent skylights that aren't made out of polycarbonate.
Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish is best used to provide a transparent, flexible finish to a variety of substrates and works excellently at resisting all weather conditions, even in extreme environments. Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish has particularly good non yellowing qualities and will not change colour when exposed to high levels of UV light.
Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish can be applied easily using all types of paint brushes and mohair or short haired rollers to produce a colourless finish. All substrates must be completely clean and dry before application and loose debris and other contaminants must be removed to ensure the product works more effectively. Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish has a quick drying time of just 1 hour to touch and can be recoated after 4 hours.
Surface and Environment
Rustoleum Vernac Acrylic Varnish is very economical and has a theoretical coverage rate of 10-15m2 per litre and can be used on non-ferrous metals such as corrugated asbestos sheets on roofs, or even vertically. Vernac Varnish works fantastically in external environments and works to resist a high level of weathering, including UV light and extreme wet conditions.
